The Duchess of Cambridge is already planning a second child with husband Prince William after reporting a smooth pregnancy, despite some morning sickness, the Daily Star reported on Wednesday. According to a close friend of Kate Middleton, the duchess wanted to see how she feels as she progresses in her pregnancy, and said that she has been doing well.

She wants to give her body time to recover, but the couple is already looking to try and conceive by January, when Middleton turns 32. The inspiration comes from her mother, who gave birth to Middleton's sister Pippa 11 months after the birth of Kate.

“She wants to see how she feels after the baby is born but she sees no reason why they can’t start trying for another baby almost straight away,” said the source in the report. “She likes the idea of having an heir and a spare just a few months apart.”The duchess also said she wants at least three children.

In other news, the Duchess of Cambridge has been reportedly fighting pregnancy stretch marks by using cocoa butter and Vitamin E. According to Yahoo, she has been applying the cream nightly, which is supposed to keep the skin hydrated and supple. Middleton has been using a combination of products, including massage lotion, massage cream, skin therapy oil and tummy butter.

A pregnant Duchess of Cambridge has made her first on-camera charitable appeal for children’s hospices in the United Kingdom. In the video, which made its debut Saturday, Kate Middleton urges people to support children’s hospice week. “Children’s hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain,” the royal mum-to-be says in the video. Middleton and Prince William are celebrating their second wedding anniversary on Monday, the same day the Duchess plans to visit Naomi Children’s Hospital in Hampshire, England.

Two years after their fairy tale wedding, the royal couple have shown a desire to live as normal a life as they possible can. “They’re really shaking things up behind the scenes and within the royal family,” said ABC News’ royals expert Victoria Arbiter. “They’ve done things that we wouldn’t have expect of them.”They’ve also spent vacations with Kate’s family, commoners who made their fortune with a party goods business.

“I think William was sending a clear message that yes, Kate’s a member of the royal family, but he, too, is a member of the Middleton family,” Arbiter said. With the royal heir due in two months, the royal couple plan to be hands-on parents. “They will have nannies at some point,” Arbiter said, “but I don’t think it’s going to be the school of nannies we’ve seen in the past.”

Gorgeous blondes in black dresses were another theme for this week's best-dressed celebrities. Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence played up their pale skin and shiny blonde hair in dark frocks with eye-catching details. After topless photos of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, were printed in magazines last September, the companies that published them faced public scrutiny and legal threats. Now, months later, charges have reportedly been filed.

According the AFP News Agency, charges have been filed in France against Ernesto Mauri, the CEO of the company that publishes Closer Magazine, as well as an unnamed photographer from the daily paper La Provence, for "invasion of privacy." Closer was the first magazine to print the photos, featuring Kate and Prince William on vacation at a private chateau in France. These days Kate Middleton is being photographed pretty regularly with a baby bump, as she attends events. She most recently attended a scouting celebration at Windsor Castle. Kate and William's first child is due in July.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is expecting her first child in July but it’s now clear that she won’t be just decorating the nursery or spending time on her newest hobby, knitting, in the meantime.
Instead, the duchess will be devoting her time to three new charities that each reflect her “personal interests in supporting children and young people to build their skills, confidence and aspirations,” the palace said in a statement.

The new charities chosen by Duchess Kate, 31, include Place2Be, a mental health and support center for underprivileged youth; SportsAid, an organization that provides aid and training to young athletes; and the Natural History Museum, a tourist destination and research center.

The duchess, married to Prince William, channeled her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, in January 2012 when she announced that she would be donating her time and support to an array of charitable organizations, including an addiction charity, a group of children’s hospices, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Scout Association, the British equivalent of the Girl Scouts, among others.

The month after her announcement, in February, she spent Valentine’s Day without Prince William but in the company of benefactors of the addiction charity and a children’s hospital.  The duchess was spotted last month trading her usual high-fashion look to get down and dirty with the U.K.’s Cub Scouts, spending a day with them in the great outdoors.

Although Middleton is due with her first child in a few months and was hospitalized in the early stages of her pregnancy for severe morning sickness, the palace says she has maintained her charitable efforts, holding meetings and private visits with the three new charities on her plate. She will also, according to the palace, “undertake both private and public visits” in the U.K. on behalf of the charities in the months ahead. Middleton told employees at a homeless shelter earlier this month that the couple’s baby, whose sex has not been revealed, was due “around mid-July, but apparently babies have their own agenda.”

The pregnant royal - who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William in July - came in as No. 1 in a new poll of 1,000 women celebrating the release of Panasonic's Lumix XS1 camera. She received quarter of the votes, according to the poll. Fellow United Kingdom native, and singer, Cheryl Cole ranked in No. 2, followed by new celebrity mom and English television presenter Fearne Cotton. Taylor Swift and Rihanna both make the top five.

Six months along in her pregnancy, Middleton still rocks designer labels and sophisticated style. She wore a red Versace overcoat during her recent trip to Scotland and paired the outfit with, black tights, black heeled boots, a Strathearn Tartan silk scarf and black Cornelia James gloves. During another outing in the country she wore a blue and grey plaid coat and black heeled boots. Middleton also chooses to wear name brands at affordable prices. In March she was spotted doing maternity shopping at a London TopShop, where she purchased a dress by clothing concession Lovestruck for $55, a rep for the company confirmed. She bought the brand's Deirde dress, a cap-sleeved floral number that is cinched at the waist, has a mandarin collar and a cross-over neckline. The dress sells for 37 pounds. Middleton confirmed on April 4 that she is due to give birth in mid-July. She told reporters, "It's around mid-July, but apparently babies have their own agenda."

What do Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, the Queen, J. K. Rowling and Adele have in common? As per the Post, they have all been selected to be part of the list of the U.K.'s 100 most powerful women, by Radio 4's Woman Hour, with Kate Middleton being the sole exception.

A couple of days ago, we reported that Kate Middleton had beaten Victoria Beckham in a poll conducted by The Mall Luton and was now the topmost fashion icon in the U.K. The majority of British women would rather dress like Kate Middleton than Victoria Beckham, possibly because the Royal has a wholesome, welcoming look and a big smile, as opposed to Victoria Beckham's pouty persona.

The list compiled by Radio 4 indicates that people in general might love Kate Middleton's style, but critics don't consider her to be that powerful. One of the judges who made the decision to leave Kate Middleton out of the list says, "inevitably, not everyone will agree with the 100 we have chosen. There are some omissions. For example, we had long debates about the Duchess of Cambridge. Is she influential? Hugely. Is she powerful? Not yet."

Kate Middleton is on a number of charities and her outfits are taken apart and examined by the media everyday. Plus, Middleton is also responsible for some changes in the Royal Family. She refused to take the vow to "obey" Prince William (you go, Kate!) and has said that she will take care of her child without a nanny, as per the Post. So many of us would disagree with Radio 4's omission of Kate Middleton from their list but we're glad to see that Victoria Beckham, who has her own fashion line and comes up with amazing monochromatic sheath dresses, made it onto the list!

Kate Middleton's spokespeople were last year forced to deny rumours that the Duchess was sent (or sent back) bundles of free clothes from Kim Kardashian, but the young royal apparently can't get enough of Kim's show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The Duchess, 31, decided to check out the reality programme after hearing that Kim, 32, was a big fan of hers and now she's a regular viewer, according one UK paper.

"Ever since Kim started mentioning Kate a lot in public, the princess has started watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians religiously," a source tells the Daily Star. "She thinks the family are hilarious. People forget that Kate is just a normal girl, who married into royalty, and enjoys the same trashy TV shows most people do."

What, so true royals don't like trashy TV?
Apparently not.  "Will doesn't watch the show with her, and makes fun of her for liking it so much," the insider says, "It doesn't bother Kate, though. She finds it relaxing, and is flattered Kim keeps speaking so highly of her."

Kate Middleton's no stranger to titles, duties and responsibility. After all, she is the Duchess of Cambridge, a soon to-be mother and now it looks like she can add the role of godmother to the list too. But before fans of the Duchess freak out over the identity of her godchild, they should probably know that Middleton is set to be the godmother of a ship — a cruise liner to be specific.

Her Royal Highness is set to name Princess Cruise's newest ship, the aptly titled Royal Princess, in a week-long ceremony set for the June 13, 2013. Yes, that's a lot of royal terms to toss around on the high seas for anyone trying to keep count. "We are delighted that the Duchess will launch our new ship and can think of no better way to celebrate our company's British heritage and our commitment to the country," said Princess Cruise's CEO and president, Alan Buckelew in a release.

The Duchess of Cambridge joins a long line of British royalty and famous women responsible for christening cruise ships, including the late Diana, Princess of Wales, Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the late Audrey Hepburn, Helen Mirren, and the recently deceased Margaret Thatcher.

The Royal Princess will be Middleton's first ship christening and marks Princess Cruise's new wave of ships. The company doesn't plan on keeping things quiet, with Middleton's ceremony set to include performance by the Royal Marines Band and the pipers of the Irish Guards, among other traditional ship christening rites, notes the Sun Sentinel.

According to Royal Princess' spec sheet, the 141,000-tonne ship can accommodate 3,600 passengers and features amenities like the SeaWalk, a glass-bottomed walkway that stretched 28 feet over the edge of the ship (think the CN Tower's Edge Walk and glass floor combined together), a television studio and an on-board pastry shop. The Royal Princess will make its maiden voyage on June 16 when is departs Southampton for Barcelona on a seven-day voyage.
